Thermodynamic analysis in laminar falling film evaporator

چکیده
• 2D analysis of heat transfer in a laminar falling film evaporator. The sources irreversibilities were identified, located and quantified. local entropy generation varies with the operating design conditions. overall is impacted by one. thermal evaporation efficiencies also impact generation. An evaporative flowing gravity on vertical plate heated fluid studied to determine temperature, evaporated mass flow, assuming constant saturation pressure at free interface, co-current counter-current configurations. energy equations are solved simultaneously through model using an implicit finite difference scheme. Local global performed order study parameters such as Reynolds numbers inlet temperature (thermal viscous irreversibilities) efficiencies. Results show that increase leads flow rate. Both number decreases for both – overheated or subcooled - impacts process. influence coefficients fluids configurations discussed.
